Our Robot
How It Works

In the FIRST LEGO League Challenge, teams design, build, and program autonomous robots using LEGO Spike Prime kits to compete on a themed game board. The robot must complete a series of missions within a set time limit, which lasts 2.5 minutes. The game board is filled with various objects, such as LEGO models representing real-world challenges, which the robot interacts with using specific actions like pushing, pulling, lifting, or sorting pieces. Each mission on the board is worth a certain number of points, which adds to 620 points this season, and the robot must autonomously perform these tasks without human intervention. Teams must carefully program their robot to complete as many missions as possible, all while optimizing for speed, precision, and efficiency. Success in the robot game relies not only on the robot's ability to perform tasks but also on the teamwork, problem-solving, and creative strategies employed by the team.
